How to reach us
Brixen is located in the heart of South Tyrol and can be easily reached by train, bus, plane or car.
It is accessible via the Brenner Pass from the north, via Bozen-Bolzano from the south and through the Pustertal valley from the east.

By rail
One of the best ways to get to Brixen-Bressanone is by train: the station is only a few minutes walking from the University.
By car
If you wish to travel to Brixen-Bressanone by car, consider that the A22 motorway is often congested as it is one of the main connection roads to the North.
Important information: the city center of Brixen-Bressanone is not accessible to traffic.
Parking: Street parking is permitted in designated areas for a short period only. We advise you to park your car in the hotel garage (if you stay in Brixen-Bressanone overnight).
By air
The nearest international airports are in Innsbruck (Austria) to the North and in Verona (Italy) to the South. Other airports such as Bergamo, Treviso, Venice and Munich are over 200 km far away.
